Chore picker that ends the "I did it last time"

Put the people in, or put the chores in. Run one race and the whole thing is settled in front of everyone, with a link that proves it was not run twice.

Up to 30 free, no sign-up. A copied spreadsheet column or a comma-separated list works too.

A chore wheel on the fridge works until the first time someone re-spins it while nobody is looking. The problem was never picking a chore. It is that a household argument is a trust argument, and a private draw cannot settle a trust argument.

Run it as a match everyone watches. Paste the housemates and the loser does the job, or paste the chores and see which one lands on you. Either way the result is fixed into a link before anyone opens it, and the link can be pinned in the group chat.

Two ways to run it

Weighting it for fairness

If someone genuinely did it last time, weight the draw. Give them fewer lottery balls and their odds drop proportionally, and the ball counts are shown in the standings so the handicap is agreed rather than sneaked in.

Keeping a record

Every match link keeps working, so the rota is a list of links rather than a memory of who claims they did what. A paid account also saves the household as a crew so you are not retyping four names every week.

How it works

1

Paste the names

Or the chores — either works.

2

Run the rumble

First one out does the job. Or last one standing wins.

3

Pin the link

A record that cannot be re-rolled after the fact.

Questions

Can I make it less likely that one person is picked?

Yes. Weighted odds lets you give them fewer lottery balls, and everyone can see the counts in the standings.

Can I use it for chores rather than people?

Yes. Paste the chores and run it once per person — whichever chore wins is theirs.

Is it free?

Yes, with no sign-up.

More ways to decide

Settle it in one match

Free, no sign-up, and the link always replays the same result.
