Terms of Service

Last updated 16 September 2026

By using Run or Rumble you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

Run or Rumble produces a randomized outcome presented as a Race, a Rumble, or a Coin Flip. The result is generated by a seeded pseudo-random number generator and is intended for entertainment and as a fair, repeatable way to settle something. It is not gambling and involves no wagering.

Free and paid plans

Core play is free forever, including matches of up to 18 competitors, with four of the twelve characters and the team colors assigned at random. A free account also saves one crew and keeps a history of the matches you run, which you can watch again at any time. The paid plan adds rosters of up to 30, all twelve characters on one board, choosing which competitor plays which character, choosing every team color, putting your own photos on competitors, putting a saved crew or a past match back on the setup screen, your own shareable links, and the spotlight for a whole match. There are two ways to pay for it:

Prices are in CAD. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change affects a renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Cancelling the subscription

You can cancel at any time, yourself, from Your account → Manage subscription in the app, which opens our payment processor's billing portal. You can also cancel by emailing info@runorrumble.com.

Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not end your access early. You keep every paid feature until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then the account reverts to the free plan. Your saved crews, uploaded photos and match history are kept — nothing is deleted when a plan lapses — and they open again if you resubscribe.

Refund policy

All sales are final. Run or Rumble is a digital product; the moment your payment goes through, your paid features unlock immediately. Because the product is delivered instantly, payments are non-refundable — including for changing your mind, unused time, or buying the wrong plan.

Because cancelling is immediate and self-serve, and because you keep what you paid for until the period ends, we do not refund the unused part of a year you have already been billed for. Buying lifetime while subscribed ends the subscription and removes the expiry rather than shortening what you already hold.

"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the service. It is a one-time payment for access with no expiry date, for as long as Run or Rumble operates. It is not a guarantee that the service will run for any particular period, and it does not cover any separately priced product we may add later.

Exceptions. We'll review a refund where required by applicable law, or for a clear billing error such as a duplicate or unauthorized charge, or a genuine technical failure on our side we couldn't resolve. Email info@runorrumble.com within 14 days of the charge, from or referencing the email used to purchase. Before disputing a charge, please contact us first — we're a small operation and will work with you.

Accounts

Accounts use passwordless one-time codes (or magic links) sent to your email. You're responsible for keeping access to that inbox secure and for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no scraping at scale, no attempts to break authentication or other users' data, no uploading unlawful content, and no using the service to harass others. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Your content & public visibility

You keep ownership of the names you add. You grant us a limited license to display them within your matches and shared links. Matches you publish are publicly accessible: anyone with the link can view them. Don't publish anything you wouldn't want others to see.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Results are random and for fun; we don't guarantee any particular outcome, uptime, or fitness for a specific purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Run or Rumble is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. We'll post changes here with an updated date; continued use means you accept them.
