How do you pick a giveaway winner on a live stream?
Paste the entries, put the tab on screen, and run a Race or a Rumble while chat watches. The winner is decided before the animation starts, so nothing can steer it mid-draw, and the link replays the identical draw for anyone who opens it later.
On a stream, a giveaway is a moment, not a formality. A name popping out of a wheel is over in a second: most of chat misses it, and the ones who see it cannot check it.
A race or a battle royale turns the draw into half a minute of content. Every entrant is on screen, chat cheers for their own animal, and the winner crosses the line in front of everyone. Then the link goes in chat, and it plays the same draw again for anyone who doubts it.
Giveaways in break rooms and live sales
- Buyer giveaways. One entry per buyer, or turn on Weighted odds and give each buyer a lottery ball per purchase. Agree the rule before the draw and say it on stream.
- Free spots. Draw a free spot in the next break as its own quick race, then run the break.
- Runners-up for no-shows. The full order comes out of one draw, so if the winner does not claim, second place was already decided on camera.
- Whatever your rules say qualifies. Followers, buyers, chat: paste that list, and the picker draws from exactly what you paste.
Getting the entries in
Paste usernames one per line, a column copied from a spreadsheet, or a comma-separated list. Duplicate names are dropped, so someone who typed their name in chat five times still has one entry.
It does not connect to Whatnot, TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, so it cannot pull comments for you: it draws from the list you paste. That is also why it works the same on every platform and never asks for your login.
Showing it on stream
Add the browser tab to your scene or share the window. The sound is part of it, with a countdown, a starting horn and a crowd at the finish, so route the tab's audio if your setup allows. Skip to results jumps straight to the winner when you are short on time.
Entry limits
Up to 18 entries free and up to 30 on the paid plan. For a bigger giveaway, shortlist first, then run the final draw here where chat can see it.
When something else is the better tool
- You want comments pulled from a post automatically. This draws from a pasted list; it does not read Instagram or TikTok comments.
- You have hundreds of entries. One draw holds up to 30. Shortlist with a comment picker first and run the final here on screen.
How it works
Paste the entries
Usernames from chat, buyers, or a spreadsheet.
Draw it live
A race or a battle royale, on screen.
Drop the link
Chat can replay the same winner.
Put it on your own site
Teachers put it on a class page, leagues on their league site, streamers on a giveaway page. Paste this code where you want the picker; your visitors use it free, with no sign-up.
Questions
Does it work with Whatnot, TikTok Live and YouTube?
Yes. It runs in a browser tab, so anything you can show on stream works. It does not log in to any platform; you paste the entries.
Can I give buyers more entries?
Yes. Turn on Weighted odds and give each entrant one lottery ball per entry they earned. State the rule before the draw.
How do I prove the giveaway was fair?
Run it live and post the link. Everyone who opens it watches the same draw pick the same winner. The link proves it replays one draw; running it live is what proves it was the only one.
What if the winner does not claim?
Every draw ranks every entrant, so second place is already decided by the same run.
How many entries can I draw from?
Up to 18 free, and up to 30 on the paid plan.
